Brandon Cartwright Obituary, PSE&G PROPERTY — Brandon Cartwright, a lineman described by colleagues as a great friend, wonderful mentor, and exceptional member of the linework community, has died following a medical emergency while working storm restoration on PSE&G property this past Saturday evening.
The event occurred at approximately 9 p.m. while Brandon Cartwright and other workers were making repairs to a damaged utility pole. During the work, Brandon Cartwright suffered what was described as a major cardiac emergency.
An apprentice and another lineman immediately commenced rescue efforts after the emergency occurred. They brought Brandon Cartwright down from the pole and started CPR before turning him over to responding emergency medical personnel.
